Fates Encompassed's Rules
Fates has always been a guild with a nice blend of casual and hardcore players, with a relaxed positive attitude towards roleplaying. These rules are designed to facilitate this and punish, where necessary, offending parties.
Minor breaches will get a warning, or an appropriately severe penalty - for example the removal of Guild privileges, such as raiding, for a set period of time.
Whilst this has only ever been done once in the entire history of FE, it has to be here. For serious or continual breaches of these rules the standard punishment will result in removal from the guild.
- All members of the guild will act within Warhammer Online's Code of Conduct and EULA which you agree to whenever you log in to the game.
- All members of the guild should be willing to share their spare items between members freely (via guild chat works).
- Guild members arguing over an item should settle this with a /roll.
- Guild chat is English OOC. Excessive swearing is unnecessary, please avoid it.
- All members should visit the website and forums daily.
- Guild tax rate may vary from time to time, depending on the current guild funding. If we need to increase tax for whatever reason we will inform you all via the website how the money will be spent.
- Guild members should make themselves available to assist other guild members to help them complete group quests. Guild chat should be your first port of call if you are struggling to achieve something.
- Guild members should give other guild members preference in groups they are forming (roles permitting).
- Attendance at guild events isn't compulsory, however if someone puts a lot of effort into organising something, then "showing your face" is good, even if you would rather be off bathing in blood.
- Keep an eye on the recruitment status of each class. If you group with someone and they are of the required skill (i.e. not total braindead people), get them on board. The guild is only as good as its members.
- Don't forget, you are representing the guild at all times. So please act in accordance with those rules. Yes, that means don't be an ARSEHOLE!
Just because something isn't listed here doesn't mean its ok. Common sense is the best guide in the world, so use it.
